Quad Cities

Even before the first European settlers came to the area, the mighty waters of the Mississippi River were an important draw for native tribes looking to trade goods. Today, this bustling region is known as the Quad Cities, which includes Bettendorf and Davenport in southeast Iowa and East Moline, Moline and Rock Island in northwest Illinois.

Visitors enjoy the Quad Cities for its many local attractions, including the TDK Bank Sports Complex, Davenport Skybridge, Mississippi Valley Fairgrounds, John Deere Pavilion, Rhythm City Casino, Mississippi River Visitor Center, Modern Woodman Park and the Quad Cities Waterfront Convention Center. The 1990s brought new energy to the area, inspiring a revitalization of its downtown areas and surrounding neighborhoods that can be enjoyed today.

There are plenty of activities for families on vacations and business travelers looking to do something fun on their downtime. From summer festivals with live music to seasonal events along the Mississippi River, there are plenty of reasons to indulge in the finer experiences of the Quad Cities.
